2021.

Please note, in order to view this post you must be wearing a mask.

It’s been 2 years. Does anyone remember Sofa Moolah? Do personal blogs exist anymore or is every cunt with a mouth podcasting? Regardless, my 2021 goals are listed below with the personal ones removed.

  • Average 50,000 Steps / Week
  • 5 x 1 Week Sober
  • Increase subscription business to $1,000 MRR
  • Read Atleast 5 Books
  • Reguarly Go Back to the Gym
  • Sell Where’s MH370
  • Finish & Launch Wacky Waving Man

Let’s break this shit down.

Average 50,000 Steps / Week

When you work from home you don’t get out much. It’s that simple. This particular goal is not so much the steps, but more reflects getting out of the house more.

5 x 1 Week Sober

1 week of sobriety at least 5 times throughout the year. This is a low bar but when you set goals they need to be realistic. Everything negative that has come in my life has come under the influence. I hope that this is a step in the right direction.

Increase Upstart Host to $1,000 MRR

Started the year at $528.71 / month. Progress was lost for the past few years due to several factors. I’m now re-focused and as it stands I’m already at close to $600/month mid-way through January.

Read Atleast 5 Books

I’m not a big reader, I want to change that. Every book I’ve read in the past has been to learn, I’ve never read for enjoyment. I’ve started the year reading Philip K Dick’s The Man in the High Castle and so far enjoying it.

Regularly Go Back to the Gym

You’re not here to learn about the benefits of exercising or working out. I’ll just say that when I was going 3-5 times a week I was feeling good. I want to regain that.

Sell Where’s MH370

I’ve moved into an apartment and need more space. The books take up too much room. I’m looking to offload them in a wholesale deal. Maybe a new owner can dedicate time to selling each book. Was the project a success or failure? Well I made my money back and then some, but I’m left with over 1,000 books. I’d say it’s 50/50.

Finish & Launch Wacky Waving Man

This has been going on forever with multiple different product development companies. At this point in time I just want 1 for my desk. I’ve committed to launch by the end of the year or abandon the project.

Overall

I’m excited for this year. Combine the fitness, with the sobriety with the projects and it may be the first time in the past 5 that I’m feeling positive.
